On today's post I am sharing with you a very different platter with finger food, all you need is dried fig, brie, walnuts, tomato paste, rice crackers, baby tomatoes, rusks, salt and pepper and some good friends or your love. So summerish! Enjoy!

Tainted Love: Goat Cheese + Pomegranate Seeds

Hey girls! I missed so much writing a post on food, it's been a really long time. My latest addiction is an experiment I did taste. I love goat cheese and while I was eating some with my late evening wine I tried some pomegranate seeds I had in fridge. To me is revelation. It's like grapes with cheese, but better. So I found the way to make it a starter, cubes of goat cheese with a pomegranate seed on them served on my grandma's vintage cake plate!

Midnight Star Omelette

Hey girls! There are some nights that I am extremely hungry and there is nothing to eat or dinner's food doesn't fit my appetite and all I need is something easy, homemade and low calorie. I say low calories because on such "occasions" I could order my favourite pizza or souvlaki but as they say, one moment on the lips..always on the hips! Let's get back to our low calorie dinner which my brother and I often split. It's an easy omelette. Here are the easy steps
1.Make an omelet with 3 eggs but keeping only the one yolk
2. Add some fresh milk + salt & pepper and stir well
3. Cut in little pieces turkey slices and 1 tomato
3. In a very hot pan add the mix from step 1
4. Quickly add the chopped from step 2
5. Add parsley
6. Make the omelet as usual
7. Serve with cheese on top and bread (can be also grilled)

Just Pesto

Hi girls!!! Today for the first time in my blog I am going to present you a recipe easy and delicious !! You can use it in multiple ways, spread it in your morning low-calorie french toast , serve it with crackers as starter or make an excellent pasta for your beloved ones.

Step 1 : Wash your basil leaves well

Step 2 : Put them in the multi mixer and press the button for 5 seconds

Step 3 : Add pine seeds, I usually use 2 bags of 42 gr. each

Step 4 : Add parmesan and pecorino cheese to become more solid. Don't over do it but if you do, add a little warm water.

Step 5 : Time to add the garlic, but remove the inner part (green one) and use only one piece of garlic if you want your pesto to be light so can be eaten more easily.

Step 5 : This step is optional :) this time I tried adding walnuts to differentiate the taste. Tip:don't overdo it because the taste will be be funny.

Step 6 : Press the button for 10 sec and add olive oil, salt, pepper and some vinegar which will give it a very very good taste. Taste and add.

End resut !! have fun in your kitchen girls :)) for any questions feel free to ask me justmyperfectday@gmail.com
